TasteAtlas has just dropped its list of the 100 Best Food Regions worldwide, and India made its mark. Four spots from the country got featured, showing off its rich and diverse food scene.

In every corner of India, people are always ready to devour something delicious, and that’s why each region has a wide range of flavours to offer. And now, these flavour-packed regions have caught global attention too. TasteAtlas has released its list of the ‘100 Best Food Regions,’ and four Indian spots have made it to the chart alongside major international names. Scroll down to see who’s on the list!

India Shines In 100 Best Food Regions

It’s always a proud moment when India shows up on a global list—especially when it’s for food. Our flavours are loved worldwide, and this time, four Indian regions have made the cut. Southern India shines at the 40th spot, making it to the top 50. West Bengal follows at 73, Maharashtra at 76, and Kerala joins the list at 97. A pretty tasty achievement, right?

If you’re a foodie on the move, India’s got you covered with some iconic regional bites. In South India, don’t miss Karimeen Pollichathu, Hyderabadi Biryani, Masala Dosa, and Nethili 65. West Bengal serves up Chingri Malai Curry, Kathi Rolls, and Murgh Rezala. Maharashtra brings the heat with Misal, Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, and Batata Vada. And in Kerala, treat yourself to Karimeen Pollichathu, Upperi, Ishtu, Putu Mayam, and classic Nariyal Chutney.

Other Regions On The List

In the ‘100 Best Food Regions’ list, Campania takes the top spot, followed by Emilia-Romagna in second place. Both regions are in Italy, showing just how strong the country’s food scene is. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves good food. Here’s the full list—
