Now, Bengaluru is gearing up for the much-awaited RCB vs CSK match, which is on Sunday, April 5. To manage the crowd, Namma Metro and bus services are being extended and adjusted. Bengaluru Namma Metro Services Extended For RCB Vs CSK Match
The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced extended metro hours to make travel easier for fans. So basically, you don’t have to stress about getting back home after the match. According to Deccan Herald, the last trains from all terminal stations will now run beyond 11 pm, giving everyone extra time to commute.
Looking at the timings, trains from Whitefield (Kadugodi) and Bommasandra will depart at 12:30 AM. Meanwhile, services from Challaghatta, Silk Institute, and Madavara will run till 12:45 AM. If you’re travelling from RV Road, the last train will be available as late as 2 AM. And from Majestic, trains in all four directions will continue till 1:30 AM, making it easier to head anywhere across the Bengaluru.

More Arrangements At Namma Metro Station
Now, here’s another big update, digital IPL tickets will come with Namma Metro QR codes. Deccan Herald reported that at the same time, BMRCL has also arranged extra parking at 43 metro stations. On match days, you can park your two-wheeler for ₹30 and your car for ₹60. These rates stay valid until metro services shut down for the day.
When it comes to reaching the stadium, picking the right station will save you time. If you’re entering through the Cubbon Road gates, it’s best to get down at Cubbon Park station. But if your entry is from the Link Road side, then MG Road station is the better option.
And it’s not just the metro, BMTC is also stepping in to handle the crowd. Special buses will run from the M Chinnaswamy Stadium after the match to help fans get back home easily.
Some key routes include SBS-1K to Kadugodi Bus Station (HAL Road), G-2 to Sarjapur, and G-3 to Electronics City (Hosur Road). Other routes will connect places like Bannerghatta National Park (G-4), Janapriya Township on Magadi Road (G-7), and RK Hegde Nagar Yelahanka via Nagawara and Tannery Road (G-10).
On top of that, there are also buses heading towards Hoskote (317 G) and Banashankari (13).
So, don’t worry, you can now enjoy the IPL match without stressing about transport.
