All cricket fans are once again excited for the most-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL). Many matches will be played in cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and more, drawing large crowds. With RCB IPL matches scheduled on March 28 and April 5, 2026, at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have shared important guidelines. Read on to know more!

Police Advisory For RCB IPL 2026 Matches At Bengaluru Stadium

During the RCB IPL 2026 matches in Bengaluru, the authorities has issued an advisory to make sure everything runs smoothly in the city. To keep traffic under control, parking will be completely banned on several main roads near the stadium. As per Country and Politics, Queens Road, from Balekundri Circle to Queens Circle and up to CTO Junction, will have no parking on either side. Similarly, MG Road, between Anil Kumble Circle and Queens Circle, will be off-limits for parked vehicles.

Other key roads like Link Road, Raj Bhavan Road, T.Chowdaiah Road, Race Course Road, and Central Street will also have parking restrictions. Cubbon Road, St. Mark’s Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road, and Vittal Mallya Road are included in the list as well. Inside Cubbon Park, parking will not be allowed at King Road, near the Press Club, Bal Bhavan, and Fountain Road.

Where To Park During The Match?

If you’re wondering where parking is allowed, here’s a list of places where IPL fans can park their vehicles. Fans can park at St. Joseph’s Indian High School and St. Joseph’s European School grounds. According to Country and Politics, Freedom Park multi-level parking, Garuda Mall, UB City Mall, and the first floor of Shivajinagar Bus Stand are also recommended.

Getting into the stadium has been organized carefully. Gates E-1 to E-3, and E-18, E-19, E-22, and E-23 on Cubbon Road are open for entry. Fans can also use Gates E-11 to E-17 on Link Road via Anil Kumble Circle and BRV Circle. Entry through Gates E-05 and E-08 on Queens Road is available, while exit is only through Gates E-09 and E-9A. Gate E-10 on Queens Road is strictly for players, officials, support staff, and VIPs. If you’re riding in app-based cabs and autos, the city has set up pick-up and drop-off points at BRV Ground near Gate 06 and Manekshaw Parade Ground near Gate 03.
