A 27-year-old woman, flying from Delhi to Kolkata, called her journey the worst experience ever. She shared the incident on Reddit under the title, “Annoying kids on flights.” In her post, she revealed that her flight turned unpleasant due to a toddler seated next to her. The woman, who had been travelling for 15 days, had booked a window seat with extra legroom for a short nap, but her plans were disrupted because of the child.

She described, “From the moment they got on the flight, the kid was nothing short of a nuisance—running, shouting, and hitting me multiple times. When I asked the mother to handle it, she replied nonchalantly, ‘Change your seat with my husband,’ even though I’d paid extra for mine. Then she laughed and said, ‘Yeh toh disturb karta rahega hehe.’”

Towards the end of the journey, another child from the same group joined in, pressing against her legs, jumping, and screaming. The woman said that when she again requested the mother to control the children, the mother got offended. Frustrated by her experience, the passenger, jokingly pleaded to all parents flying with kids, “Please, please, please keep your children quiet on flights—or give them a sleeping pill.”
