Sometimes, the internet proves to be the most heartwarming place! While some posts make us laugh instantly, others simply leave us smiling the whole day. One such heartwarming video recently caught our attention. In Hyderabad, a man ordered sweets on Diwali from Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto, and BigBasket, and what he did next when the delivery boys arrived won our hearts. Scroll down to find out more.
Hyderabad Man Gives Diwali Sweets To Delivery Boys
Digital creator Gundeti Mahendhar Reddy (@the_hungry_plate) from Hyderabad made Diwali a special moment for delivery boys. He shared a video with the caption, “This Diwali, we decided to sweeten the smiles that make our deliveries special.” In the video, he ordered sweets from different delivery platforms—Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto, and BigBasket.
When the delivery boys arrived at his doorstep, instead of keeping the sweets, Reddy gave them back, wished each of them “Happy Diwali,” and shook their hands. This kind gesture by the influencer won our hearts and made Diwali even more special. He also explained his gesture in the comment section and wrote, “I made this reel because I wanted to inspire someone to do the same for this Diwali and future festivals. If it were for views, I could delete the video after Diwali—views are not important to me. For those saying this video was made for views, please try bringing a smile to at least 10 people’s faces and then come back. I will definitely delete this reel.”
This video of the man giving sweets to delivery boys on Diwali has quickly gone viral, and honestly, it was enough to bring a smile to our faces as well. It had the same effect on others, and many of them shared their reactions in the comments section and mentioned how this is the spirit of the festival!
One user wrote, “I appreciate you for not showing their faces.”
Another user wrote, “Finally, someone rewarding their efforts.”
One user commented, “That was a very kind gesture.”
One netizen also wrote, “Brother good part of this post is that you didn’t show our delivery partners’ faces, even though they are doing a dignified job”.
We have said this before and we’ll say it again, it doesn’t cost much to be kind! We loved this gesture by Gundeti and we hope that his message reaches across the country!
