One of our favourite restaurants in Mumbai has been The Bombay Canteen. This place has become a go-to for many Mumbaikars over the years, but soon it will be temporarily closed. Read on to know why!
Why Is The Bombay Canteen Closing?
The Bombay Canteen in Mumbai recently took to its social media handle to share that the restaurant is temporarily closing. This update has broken the hearts of many Mumbaikars, but it looks like the restaurant needed it. Revealing the reason, the restaurant said that it is being temporarily closed because of some much-needed TLC (Tender Loving Care).
What Does TLC Mean?
TLC means Tender Loving Care. During this break, restaurants often take time to deep clean the space, make some changes, update their menu, or simply give their staff a much-needed mental health break.
The Bombay Canteen will be closed from September 14 to October. The restaurant has not given an exact date, but we can assume that it will be closed for around a month. It will remain open until September 13, so if you’re planning to visit this place but have been delaying it, now is the time!
