7 New Amrit Bharat Express Trains Approved Across India; Check Routes, Schedule & More!

There’s no doubt that Indian Railways is constantly introducing new trains and routes. Now, here’s some exciting news for passengers! The Railway Board has approved seven new Amrit Bharat Express trains running across the country. Read on to know more! 

Indian Railways Approves Seven New Amrit Bharat Express Trains

As per NDTV, the newly approved seven Amrit Bharat Express trains will travel across northern, central, western and southern India. These new trains are:

1. Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express

The Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express comes with train numbers 22075 and 22076. Connecting Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, this train will depart from Charlapalli to Gorakhpur on Fridays and return on Sundays. This train will stop at Charlapalli, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Manchiryal, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Betul, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Lucknow City, Gomtinagar, Barabanki, Gonda and Gorakhpur.

2. Subedarganj-Lokmanya Tilak Amrit Bharat Express

This train will connect Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai and will run with train numbers 14121 and 14122. The new train will stop at places like Subedarganj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Bharuwa Sumerpur, Ragaul, Banda, Chitrakutdham Karwi, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nasik Road, Kalyan and Thane. This train will run once a week.

3. Dhanbad-Coimbatore Amrit Bharat Express

The Dhanbad-Coimbatore Amrit Bharat Express comes with train numbers 22363 and 22364. This train will stop at several stations, including Dhanbad Jn, NSC Bose Jn Gomoh, Parasnath, Hazaribagh Road, Koderma, Gaya, Anugraha Narayan Road, Dehri On Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Mirzapur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Betul, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Mancheral, Peddapalli, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur.

4. Gorakhpur-Bandra Amrit Bharat Express

The 15085/15086 Gorakhpur-Bandra Amrit Bharat Express will connect Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai. This train will begin its journey from Gorakhpur on Fridays, while the return journey will operate on Saturdays. The train will stop at Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Badshahnagar, Aishbagh, Kanpur Central, Tundla, Agra Fort, Bayana, Gangapur City, Kota, Bhawani Mandi, Shamgarh, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Borivali and Bandra Terminus.

5. Prayagraj-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express

The Prayagraj-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express (20437/20438) will stop at stations including Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Etawah, Tundla, Idgah Agra, Bayana, Hindaun City, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Bhawani Mandi, Ratlam, Vadodara and Udhna.

6. Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express

The new Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express (15095/15096) will run on both Thursdays and Fridays. The train will halt at Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Burhwal, Sitapur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Ghaziabad and Delhi.

7. Prayagraj-Lokmanya Tilak Amrit Bharat Express

The last and seventh train is the Prayagraj-Lokmanya Tilak Amrit Bharat Express (20436/20435). This train will stop at a few locations: Prayagraj, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhusaval and Kalyan. It will run on Fridays, while the return journey will operate on Saturdays.
