Let’s take a look at what Indians were ordering on the last day of 2025!
Grapes Took Over New Year’s Eve Orders On Instamart
Grapes definitely took the internet by storm. With countless reels claiming that eating 12 grapes brings good luck in the New Year, Instamart recorded 235K searches for grapes in the first half of the day. People began getting their hands on their ‘good luck grapes’ as early as 5 am. In the final hour of 2025, grape sales jumped by 15 times! But that’s not all. Cakes also saw a steady 7x demand. It looks like many people were keen on welcoming the New Year by cutting a cake at midnight.
According to the Instamart report, party glasses saw a 2.5x spike in demand, beverages saw a 3.5x rise, pizza bases jumped by 2.8x, and BBQ-related items saw a massive 6x surge. These numbers clearly show that people hosting house parties turned to Instamart for their last-minute needs. Ramen lovers might feel a little disappointed, though, as Maggi surpassed ramen in total orders!
