Many people in India are now planning pilgrimage trips. While it sounds exciting to take time out for a spiritual journey, the actual planning and finding the right mode of transport can feel stressful. To make things easier, Indian Railways has come up with summer special Bharat Gaurav trains that take care of almost everything for you. Read on to know more!

Indian Railways Launches Bharat Gaurav Trains For Summer

To take care of your pilgrimage travel needs, Indian Railways has introduced Bharat Gaurav Trains. According to NDTV, these trains are launched by South Central Railway in collaboration with IRCTC. They will run between April and June from Secunderabad across North India and South India. These trains are designed to make your spiritual trip easy and stress-free. You just have to choose your preferred route, and everything else, travel, stay, meals, and sightseeing, is taken care of.

The first journey, Ayodhya–Kashi with Baidyanath Dham, will run from April 28 to May 7. This 10-day trip covers Puri, Konark, Baidyanath Dham, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. The train will pass through stations like Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, and Vizianagaram. Ticket prices are ₹16,700 for Sleeper, ₹26,100 for 3AC, and ₹34,100 for 2AC.

The second route, Haridwar–Vaishno Devi–Rishikesh, is scheduled from May 12 to May 21. This journey includes stops at Mathura, Vrindavan, Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. The train will travel via stations such as Kazipet, Nagpur, and Wardha. Fares are starting at ₹16,500 for Sleeper, ₹25,700 for 3AC, and ₹33,400 for 2AC.

More Journeys To Look Forward To

The third option, Divya Dakshina Yatra, will run from May 24 to May 31. As per NDTV, this South India tour includes Tiruvannamalai, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trichy, Thanjavur, and Chidambaram. The route covers stations like Vijayawada, Nellore, and Renigunta. Ticket prices start at ₹14,500 for Sleeper, ₹21,700 for 3AC, and ₹27,900 for 2AC.

Another Ayodhya–Kashi special train will run from June 3 to June 12 for the Yamuna Pushkaralu. This journey covers Puri, Konark, Baidyanath Dham, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. You can book tickets at ₹16,700 for Sleeper, ₹26,100 for 3AC, and ₹34,100 for 2AC.

These packages are all-inclusive, so you don’t need to worry about extra cost. The fare includes train travel, hotel stays, local transport for sightseeing, and all meals. Passengers also get drinking water, a tour escort, and travel insurance. For safety, the coaches will have CCTV cameras, and security staff will be present on board.
