Just Bangalore things, I guess.”
In the post, you can see a ChatGPT-style mobile interface displaying a question, “Why is the Varamahalakshmi festival celebrated and when?” This is a smart strategy used by the local saree shop, especially with Varamahalakshmi just around the corner. By using ChatGPT-style display boards, the local shop kept its marketing strategy trendy and eye-catching. One of the netizens in the post’s comments also mentioned the shop’s other offers, “This saree shop has a lot of cool features: BNPL, pay for 11 months & get an extra month’s money free to buy a saree, etc.”
This local shop’s marketing idea proves why Bengaluru is called a tech-savvy city. Before the ChatGPT prompt display, a post went viral where an auto driver was listening to a Naval Ravikant podcast. Ravikant is a well-known American entrepreneur and angel investor. The driver had fixed a small screen inside the auto, making it easy for him to watch the podcast. The post went viral with the caption, “It doesn’t get more peak Bengaluru than this.”
