Compared to previous times, travelling across India has changed. Now, passengers are demanding comfort, time saving and more experiences in less time. Tourism is no longer about only reaching a destination. It is about how quickly you reach. First Helicopter Tourism Service In Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched the state’s first helicopter tourism service. It is called ‘PM Shri Tourism Helicopter Service’. This service is specially designed to boost tourism and connect major cities, jungle destinations and important spiritual spots. This initiative was launched at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj International Airport during the state’s 70th Foundation Day celebration. Officials also said this is the first helicopter tourism service of its kind by any Indian state, reported CNBCTV18.
This helicopter service will start full operations from November 20. It will run five days a week under a public-private partnership model through Trans Bharat Aviation and Jet Serve Aviation Pvt Ltd.
Routes This New Helicopter Service Will Cover
Right now, there are three main routes in the first phase. According to CNBCTV18, these routes will cover Bhopal-Pachmarhi-Madhai, Indore-Ujjain-Omkareshwar and Jabalpur-Kanha-Bandhavgarh. This means tourists can explore wildlife hotspots, spiritual places like the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, and beautiful hills like Pachmarhi through direct helicopter travel.
If you’re wondering how this helicopter tourism service will benefit, it will save tourists long hours of travelling. Earlier, one needed many hours of road travel to go from one tourist site to another. Now, travellers can visit multiple spots in a single day. This will make tourism smoother and more comfortable. According to CNBCTV18, the Chief Minister said that this project is aimed at not just connecting places but also connecting emotions and experiences. He wants air travel to feel enjoyable even within the state.
This service will also support rural jobs, homestays and local artisans, because more tourists will reach more remote locations. Apart from tourism, Madhya Pradesh is already working on an air ambulance service and better air connectivity.
