Direct Flights Between Ahmedabad And Colombo
City of Dreams Sri Lanka, in partnership with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts and Walkers Tours, has teamed up with FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s first private international airline, to start flights between Ahmedabad and Colombo. This move aims to boost tourism and strengthen travel connections between Gujarat and Sri Lanka.
FitsAir will operate these flights three times a week. This direct service gives travellers a smooth and convenient way to reach Colombo without layovers. It also caters to the growing number of people from Gujarat exploring international destinations, as the state has become a key market for Sri Lankan tourism.
As per the Economic Times, these flights are planned to start from March 15. Ahmedabad to Colombo will depart at 3:40 am and 10:45 am, arriving at 6:50 am and 1:55 pm, respectively. Colombo to Ahmedabad flights leave at 11:25 pm and 06:30 am, reaching Ahmedabad at 02:35 am and 09:40 am.
