In India, poha is a popular dish enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes even in the evening. But how can we be sure that the poha we’re eating is healthy or not? The rising cases of unhygienic food handling have made it difficult to trust brands for safe products. A recent viral video on social media of popular poha brand Yuvraj Food Product proves these fears are real. Scroll down to know more!

Yuvraj Food Product Staff Handles Poha In An Unhygienic Way

A shocking clip shared on X by Nalanda Index (@Nalanda_index) shows staff of Yuvraj Food Product handling poha in a highly unhygienic way. In the video, we can see two workers sit next to a large pile of flattened rice and scoop portions directly into packets using their bare hands. Some of the poha is even under them as they sit. This instantly makes us wonder—how can we be sure we are eating safe and healthy food?

The video has raised serious food safety concerns. Many viewers are disturbed because the packaging might look clean and premium, but the handling behind the scenes is anything but safe. The caption in the post highlighted this contrast, pointing out that the poha’s presentation does not match the unsanitary process.
