When Is Ram Navami?

This festival is on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, a nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. And now, we’re once again close to celebrating this special day.
This year, Ram Navami will be celebrated on March 27, as per Drik Panchang. According to the Free Press Journal, the Navami Tithi will begin at 11:48 AM on March 26 and end at 10:06 AM on March 27. The most important time for puja is the Madhyahna Muhurat, which falls between 11:02 AM and 1:28 PM. The exact Madhyahna moment is at 12:15 PM, which is believed to be the time of Lord Rama’s birth.

Rituals On Ram Navami
On the day of Ram Navami, many Hindu devotees visit temples, especially those dedicated to Lord Rama. Also, homes and temples are decorated, and special prayers are offered. The Free Press Journal reported that during Ram Navami, people observe fasts and perform puja at home or in temples. The Madhyahna Muhurat is considered the most auspicious time for rituals. On this day, many also visit the temples of Goddess Siddhidatri.
Many people also recite the Ramcharitmanas at home or in temples. Some organise food distribution for the needy. We can say that Ram Navami is not just a celebration but a time to reflect on faith, discipline, and devotion.
