However, some airlines are known for their on-time performance, and a recent report ranking the world’s most punctual carriers has good news for Indian flyers: one Indian airline has made it to the Asia-Pacific region’s top 10 most punctual airlines for 2025. IndiGo Is India’s Most Punctual Airline
No points for guessing — IndiGo has secured a spot among the Asia-Pacific region’s 10 most punctual airlines for 2025. In a report by aviation data firm Cirium, which reviews the on-time performance of airlines worldwide, IndiGo ranked sixth on the Asia-Pacific list.
According to India Today, a flight is considered ‘on time’ for this list if it arrives within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled gate arrival. Reaffirming its strong on-time performance in one of the world’s most competitive aviation markets, IndiGo was able to deliver a 78.12% on-time arrival rate across a total of 802,418 flights in 2025. This comes despite the early December disruption for the airline.
On the global front, Aeromexico bagged the ‘Most Punctual Global Airline’ title, with a whopping 90.02% punctuality rate across 188,859 flights. The airline won the title for the second year in a row. Qatar Airways was named the Platinum Winner with 84.42% on-time performance across 198,303 flights!

Top 10 Most Punctual Asia-Pacific Airlines For 2025
IndiGo was India’s most punctual airline in 2025 and ranked 6th on the top 10 Asia-Pacific region list. Philippine Airlines topped the list with an impressive 83.12% punctuality rate across 116,268 flights. Here’s what the entire list looks like –
