The actress, who is known for her timeless beauty, recently had an amazing Seafood brunch with our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, where she opened up about a glimpse into her daily eating habits and how her diet keeps her healthy and fit. Sonali Bendre On How She Looks This Good At Her Age
During a candid conversation with Kamiya Jani, Sonali was asked what she eats to maintain her fitness. Laughing at the question, she admitted that there isn’t a secret diet behind her appearance. She further added, “I don’t know… maybe fasting is good?” To which Kamiya instantly asked if it really helps and how often Sonali fasts. Sonali revealed that she follows intermittent fasting every single day. “Every day,” she replied, adding that she had intentionally waited before filming the interview so she could break her fast while enjoying the meal.

The answer surprised Kamiya Jani, and she instantly asked how many hours Sonali fasts. To which she revealed that her fasting window lasts between 18 and 20 hours daily. When Kamiya asked whether such long fasting hours were medically recommended, Sonali told her honestly, “I don’t know whether it’s good or not, but I feel good.”
The actor also hasn’t revealed that she is not a foodie, and she doesn’t crave food. “I’m not really a foodie. Kuch cheezein jo achhi lagti hain, phir I eat that,” she added.
Sonali Bendre On Her Diet
Even though she follows a strict fasting routine, Sonali doesn’t believe in restricting herself entirely. Instead, she prefers balance over deprivation. “I eat everything,” she said. “I just try to avoid white sugar and opt for natural sugar whenever possible.”
While enjoying a delectable seafood spread at Gajalee, Sonali also revealed her favourite dish there. She revealed that she likes to have mutton vade there. She said, “Vade is actually like a poori made of different dals. But I don’t know why in Maharashtra we call it vade. But that with the rassa wala mutton is just amazing.”
