Racial abuses have always been a cause of concern and even today, such instances take place. Ironically, this time, an Indian was racially abused by another Indian-American in the US. The Californian who abused a fellow Indian, was identified as Tejinder Singh. Tejinder hurled racial slurs and anti-Hindu comments at Krishnan Jayaraman at a Taco Bell outlet in Fremont. The video of the abuse has gone viral and sparked outrage among the netizens.
What An Irony! Indian Hurls Racial Slurs At Fellow Indian
A video has cropped up of the incident, where Tejinder can be seen saying anti-Hindu comments at Jayaraman. The former even called Jayaraman a ‘dirty Hindu’. The person holding the camera recorded all the vile comments he made about Hindus and even some offensive comments about the religion. As per media reports, after the incident, Jayaraman spoke to US media houses and said that the incident has scared him. And he is utterly disappointed with the fact that he was racially abused by an Indian. Jayaraman was also terrified during the entire incident and thought that Tejinder could hurt him.

How Did Taco Bell React To The Incident?
According to the press release by Fremont Police, a Taco Bell employee reported about the incident, following which the Police reached the spot. The Taco Bell employee reported that the two customers – Jayaraman and Tejinder were getting into an argument. After a proper investigation and questioning done of both the parties, Tejinder has been charged of using extremely offensive and hurtful language toward the other. The Police also said that there no threats of physical abuse made by Tejinder. After a thorough investigation of the Tejinder and Jayaraman, the former has been charged under violation of civil rights, assault and disturbing the peace by offensive language.
Fremont Police, in the press release urged ‘the community to be respectful to each other and to immediately report any circumstances such as this that upon investigation may rise to the level of a crime.’
