Serbia’s administration recently decided that visa will be exempted for Indian travellers and tourists, along with Iranians who have ordinary passports. This gorgeous southeastern European country is another place that Indians can happily travel visa-free. The implementation of this new rule will witness Indian citizens entering and transiting through Serbia without a visa. Indian citizens can stay in the country visa-free for 30 days only from the date of entry (within a period of one year).

A government official has stated that the undisturbed arrival of tourists from Iran and India, will attract potential investors and can create a more favourable environment and bring bilateral relations with these countries to a higher level. Reports suggest that annual transaction between Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and New Delhi, amounts to a whopping $150 million approximately. And the trade between Serbia and Iran amounts to around $20 million.
