Indian influencer Jaspreet Kaur is facing backlash online for her conduct while travelling in China. The influencer visited China a few months ago and posted a video titled “Afraiding Social Anxiety From Chandni Chowk To China.” What could have been a hilarious video, took an offensive turn when she mocked Chinese locals with her offensive digs.
In the very beginning of the video, she says, “Jaise aap log corona de sakte ho world ko, toh kya mein aapko trauma de sakti hu?” She is then seen stopping by a local eatery and asking, “Ma’am yeah konsa janwar kata hai aapne?” In another obnoxious scene from the video, she approaches locals and asks them, “Yeh pull gir toh nahi jayega na?” Adding since it’s a Chinese bridge, she wanted to confirm its quality.
She stops several locals throughout the video and asks them weird questions like if their designer clothes are real or if they bought them from Sarojini Market and more.
