Indian Railways Shares A Mesmerising View Of A Train Passing Through Ranpat Falls In Konkan Region

They say travelling by train is the right way to travel as you happen to pass many mountains, rivers, lakes, fields, forests, and more, offering you many sights to behold. The Ministry of Railways makes it a point to share all the beautiful pictures and videos across the rail routes of our country. Following the suite, it shared a beautiful video of a train passing through Ranpat Falls, and we are mesmerised. 

Ministry Of Railways Shares A Mesmerising Video 

If you have travelled in the Konkan region, you know that it is paradise throughout the year, especially in the rainy season when it is covered with a blanket of greenery. From majestic mountains to lovely cascading waterfalls to lush greenery, Konkan is blessed with it all. 

Showcasing a part of this beauty and also the beauty of rail connectivity, the Ministry of Railways shared a very beautiful video from the Konkan region. The video featured Indian railways’ traversing through the graceful Ranpat waterfall near Ukshi in Ratnagiri. 

The train passing through this milky waterfall was surely the most mesmerising sight. Imagine, what a sight it must have been for the people inside the train who must have witnessed it. The video was posted on the official Twitter handle of the ministry.

Achieving Amazing Feats Across The Globe

Recently, the Ministry also shared a video of the longest railway platform in the world, which is located in Karnataka at Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station. The South Western Railway zone’s Hubballi station has been featured in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records.

The Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji station, the longest railroad platform in the world, is located at Indian Railways’ Hubballi station, which earned this distinction.

The Hubballi yard remodel includes the initiative to develop the Hubballi station. The construction of the station cost around ₹20.1 lakhs. In February 2021, while working on this building project, electronic interlocking was introduced for the remodel of the Hubballi yard.
