India’s Green Music Festival, Echoes Of Earth Makes Goa Debut; Date, Artist Lineup & More

Echoes of Earth is one of India’s most unusual live music festivals, celebrating music, art, culture, and environmental conservation. It is the ideal combination of responsible causes and enriching live experiences that promise to engage its audience in a meaningful way. This green music festival will soon be now making its debut in the sunshine state of Goa.

Echoes Of Earth Will Be Debuting In Goa

Goa provides a unique canvas for Echoes, allowing the event to mix with biodiversity, diversified culture, and indigenous art forms. In keeping with the theme, Ensemble of the Wild aims to increase awareness and celebrate the region’s healthy ecosystems. This will also highlight Goa’s diverse biodiversity via the mediums of music and art.

In Goa, the festival will collaborate with local eco-warriors, grassroots organisations, and individuals dedicated to preserving Goa’s biodiversity, as well as the Goa government, to power the cause. The goal is to view Goa in a whole new light and experience it like never before. The festival aims to experience that is tailored to art and music aficionados, nature lovers, and the environmentally aware equally.

In their earlier editions, the festival laid the groundwork for massive creative works constructed from recycled and upcycled products. The festival aims to become entirely carbon-neutral and waste-free over the following few years. Echoes of Earth is making advances towards sustainability by incorporating reusable steel cups and water bottles, as well as upcycling materials from prior editions.

What To Expect From Goa Edition?

Echoes of Earth is set to debut in Goa on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Feb, 2024. Over 40 international and local artists will play on three elegantly crafted stages across three immersive days at the Festival. It will also include 20+ art installations, educational seminars, traditional folk performances, and a flea market with sustainable businesses.

In Goa, the festival’s conceptual subject, ‘Ensemble of the Wild’, will highlight the interconnectivity of flora, animals, habitats, and ecosystems concerning the Western Ghats, one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots. In addition, the festival will work to preserve the Western Ghats’ rich and sensitive biodiversity.

The festival structure for Echoes of Earth is based on Circular Design, with festival components made from old, abandoned, and repurposed items from previous editions, demonstrating a dedication to sustainability. With artists like Oden & Fatzo, Balkan Pump, Tribalneed and more, the line-up demands interest amidst Goan frames.
