This particular instance has left many passengers grossly inconvenienced. On the 31st of August, an IndiGo flight numbered 6E 6528 took off at 9 PM from the Kolkata airport. It was headed to the Rahul Gandhi International Airport or RGIA in Hyderabad.

However, when it arrived in Hyderabad around 11 PM, the passengers were disappointed and confused when the pilot failed to land the plane. According to an article recently published in The Times of India, the flight, said a passenger, kept hovering over the Hyderabad airport.

This went on till 11:45 PM after which, the flight was diverted to Bengaluru. Apparently, the pilot attempted twice to land the plane at RGIA but failed to do so. The reason cited by the airline was bad weather conditions.

Recently, another IndiGo flight had to be delayed for as long as five hours owing to the unruly behaviour of passengers. The flight was headed to Kolkata from Kepegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.

The delay occurred because of a fight that erupted between passengers. Passengers hurled abuses and tossed objects which led to the flight being delayed.
