Travel To Uttarakhand With IRCTC

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced an exciting tour package for those who want to travel to Uttarakhand. The tour is named ‘Heavenly Uttarakhand’ and is of six days and five nights. The tour will cover prominent destinations of Uttarakhand — Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Dehradun and Haridwar. There will be a flight from Raipur which will take you to Delhi from where the journey will begin.

The first destination will be Haridwar where you will visit Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi through a ropeway. The second destination will be Rishikesh where you will get to see the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Swarga Ashram, and Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat. And then you will return to Haridwar.

From there, your next stop on this trip is Dehradun. Here, you can visit Forest Research Institute, Tapkeshwar Temple, Deer Park, Shiv Temple, and Paltan Bazaar. Mussoorie is the last destination where you will go on a one-day visit. The place is known for Kempty falls, Gun Hill, K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum and Landour Bazaar. The return route is the same as the arriving one — Dehradun to Delhi to Raipur.

Things Included On The Trip

Before going on the trip, take a look at what is included by the organiser. The onward and return airfare, accommodation, breakfasts and dinners, private vehicles for sightseeing and travel insurance are included in the tour. For accommodation, passengers will be given air-conditioned rooms for two nights in Dehradun, two nights in Haridwar and one night in Delhi.
