IRCTC Rolls Out Tour Package From Mumbai To Kashmir At A Starting Price Of ₹27,300

IRCTC has launched a 5 days 6 nights tour package from Mumbai to Kashmir at an affordable starting price of just ₹27,300. The tour will cover stunning destinations in Kashmir like Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonmarg and Gulmarg. The package will also incorporate a stay in the houseboat and a Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. As per reports, the IRCTC tour will begin from Mumbai on September 25 and 26. Read on to know more.

Day 1: Reaching Srinagar From Mumbai And Staying In A Houseboat

Reportedly, travellers will be first flown from Mumbai to Srinagar via flight. Tourists can spend the first day at Srinagar visiting the Shankracharya Temple, staying in a houseboat and indulging in a shikara ride on the Dal Lake, The shikara ride has to be taken at their own cost. At night, they will be offered dinner in the houseboat. This will be followed by an overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 2 & 3: Exploring Pahalgam & Gulmarg

Day 2 will include sightseeing at Pahalgam covering Betab Vally, Aru Valley, Awantipura ruins and Chandanwadi. On Day 3, tourists can explore Gulmarg on a Gondola ride. Day 4: Exploring Sonmarg

Known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’, Sonmarg is one of the most pristine hill stations in India perched at around 2800 metres about sea level. Sonmarg offers several scenic landscapes as well as adventure activities like zorbing and horse riding. In Sonmarg, tourists can explore Thajiwas glacier and other places and then again return to Srinagar.

Day 5: Exploring Srinagar

There are many marvellous places to explore in Srinagar. Tourists can visit the Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Hazratbal Shrine and more. They can also do some shopping in the evening. If you have time, you can also visit Gulshan Books in the middle of Dal Lake. It is a cosy bookstore-cum-cafe that has more than 80,000 books across diverse genres which took it to the Limca Book Of Records 2018.

Day 6: Srinagar To Mumbai
