In an attempt to create a safe and hygienic environment for guests, ITC becomes the first hotel chain in the world to receive a platinum level certification for their safety and hygiene protocols across their properties.
The Operations Of Hotel Assessed Based On Six Aspects
DNV, an Oslo-based risk management service provider developed the ‘My Care’ programme with a team of hotel management and infection risk experts. The programme assesses the operations of a hotel on six aspects including strategy, communication, governance, analysis, data, and continuous improvement.

ITC’s ‘WeAssure’ programme is globally certified by DNV’s My Care Infection Risk Management Program. The hotel chain has worked extensively on pathogen preventive measures and introduced technologies that help to reduce the risk of infections. The protocols aren’t just limited to COVID but other infections as well and are in sync with the international guidelines.
