Jacqueline Fernandez has been making headlines after her power-packed performance in the song Ra Ra Rakkamma in Vikrant Rona. And, we are all thrilled to see her captivating dance moves. We spoke to her on our recent episode of Sunday Brunch With Curly Tales, where our Chief Travelling Officer & Host Kamiya Jani took a drive with Jacqueline Fernandez through the Mumbai roads on a rainy afternoon, and shared a delicious Sri Lankan meal.

Jacqueline Fernandez On Her Favourite Sri Lankan Dish – Lamprais

Jacqueline Fernandez says there is so much to discover in India, especially the Indian cuisine. Jacqueline, told Curly Tales host, Kamiya Jani about how she enjoys having her meals with her hands and makes sure her dad feeds her with his hands too. As they enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan meal, Jacqueline told that how India and Sri Lanka has so much common in their cuisine – especially the ones from Kerala and Goa. She also told that her favourite Sri Lankan delicacy was Lamprais. As the three, gorged on the delicious meal, Jacqueline speaks of the rice and coconut based curries – which is very similar to the cuisine of South India.

The Sri Lankan Delicacy That’ll Woo The Meat Lover In You!

It has been eight months since Jacqueline Fernandez has been on a pure vegetarian meal. She told Curly Tales that once in a year she prefers to go on a full vegan diet for 40 days. However, before turning pure veg, this Sri Lankan delicacy was her favourite and we are sure all you meat lovers would savour eating this dish too. Lamprais is a combination of rice, curry and meatballs – introduced by the Dutch population in Sri Lanka. The Lamprais, in the today’s times, consists of both the non-veg and vegetarian versions.
