As a Gen Z Bollywood fan, watching the International Indian Film Academy Awards has been an integral part and memorable experience of my life. Before social media swept away viewers’ anticipation, Gen Z, Millenials, and Bollywood enthusiasts, in general, waited throughout the year for such iconic award shows and to know which of their favourite actors won the prestigious awards. We come bearing great news for fans as the IIFA Awards announced Jaipur as its newest venue. We are excitedly awaiting this special event!
IIFA Awards In Jaipur… Coming Soon!
The Pink City will be the host for the glorious 25th edition of this spectacular award show. Scheduled between March 7 and 9, 2025, Bollywood stars, eminent personalities, and fans will celebrate the silver jubilee of the IIFA Awards. In 2024, the Rajasthan Tourism Department and the IIFA signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for this upcoming high-profile event.
Last year, Albert Hall in Jaipur hosted the agreement signing ceremony. Among the attendees were Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Commissioner of Tourism VP Singh, and Vice President STJ Global Entertainment and Media (IIFA) Suresh Iyer. VP Singh and Suresh Iyer signed this agreement on behalf of their departments.
What makes the IIFA Awards 2025 special? This year, we will see the first-ever IIFA Digital Awards segment. The recognition will be awarded to exceptional and the best talents featured on OTT platforms and digital entertainment.

Are you wondering which celebrities will grace their presence at this show this year? Though IIFA is yet to announce its guest list, we think Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani among others are likely to attend the event. It’s only a matter of time before IIFA releases the entire guest list.
Back To India For The Second Time!
If you have been watching the IIFA Awards for years, you know that international cities mostly host this acclaimed award show yearly. Abu Dhabi was the venue last time. In 2019, Mumbai hosted its 20th edition marking an Indian city organising the event for the first time. After Mumbai, Jaipur is set to be the second Indian city to host everyone’s favourite IIFA Awards in 2025.
Home to rich history, heritage, and culture, Rajasthan’s tourism department is likely to get a major boost — thanks to the IIFA Awards.
How excited are you for the award night?
