While India was under the Diwali spell last weekend, folks in Jaipur caught the Diljit Dosanjh fever. The global sensation was in Jaipur for the second leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour. Several photos and videos of Diljit performing on stage went viral on social media platforms. A few videos showed fans pulling off the ultimate jugaad where they witnessed the concert absolutely free of charge.
Diljit Dosanjh Fans Watch His Concert From PG Balcony In Jaipur
From exorbitantly priced tickets to booking websites crashing to tickets being sold on the black market, Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour has been the talk of the town. Getting tickets for the concert is serious business. Those who couldn’t, feel the FOMO and others not admitting defeat. A video shared by @beingjaipurites AKA Manish Kumar went viral on social media platforms where a group of boys crowded the balcony of a building, watching the concert from afar.

Despite not being able to bag tickets to the concert, they were watching the show from their PG balcony. They were seen recording videos of the extravagant concert. Some even use the zoom buttons on their phones to get a closer look. Diljit performed at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) located in the city’s Sitapur area. In the caption, the boys joked that folks in the PG saved ₹25,000.
Another video posted by @jaipur_graphers showed people climbing high-wired fences to get a glimpse of the pop-culture icon. As the police drew them away, they were seen running on the streets. The words in the clip stated that even if they don’t get tickets, they can always watch Diljit from here (from the fences). For pulling off these stunts, they were eventually chased away by the police.

The Singer Visited City Palace & Dined With Royals
Meanwhile, Diljit ahead of his concert, made a pit-stop at the City Palace in Jaipur. He was welcomed to the city by Rajasthan Deputy CM Princess Diya Kumari. After exploring the splendour of the illuminated palace, he dined with the royals and feasted on traditional Rajasthani delicacies.
