Jebel Jais Now Has A Sky Bridge Suspended Above The Sea

Jebel Jais is well known for the World’s Longest zip line, the ice rink and the zorbing track. However, it looks like there’s yet another thrilling addition to this list. The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) in association with ToroVerde has launched a ‘Jebel Jais Zip line Tour’. The world’s longest zip line tour will now feature a sky bridge, suspended 1.25km above the sea.

What’s It?

A 15m-long sky bridge suspended 1.25km above sea level, is the latest adventure attraction in Jebel Jais. The zip line tour at Jebel Jais features seven ziplines, flying over the rocky terrains and cliffs of the mountain. The ziplines are connected by connected by nine platforms and cover a total distance of distance of 5km. During the trip, zipliners will cross the all new sky bridge, the highest in the UAE, to complete the tour.

Ricardo Lizano, COO of ToroVerde, said the tour will take zipliners through a scenic landscape, giving tourists an exhilarating experience. Zip lining tours can be booked for AED 295 per person on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, and AED 345 per person on Friday and Saturday.

And that’s not all! Lizano also added that Jebel Jais will soon feature two new attractions. The new ventures in the pipeline include a Bull Maze- an adventurous ride of 35 challenging obstacles high up in the air, distributed across three levels. The attractions is expected to launch later this year.

Tourists can soon bungee jump at a height of 1,500 meters above the sea, at Jebel Jais. The jump will feature a free fall of 8 meters and a controlled fall of 15 meters. The new attraction is expected to open doors early next year.

What Else?

Jebel Jais will soon be home to a brand new eco-friendly ‘Luxury Camp’ project. The luxury camp will have a total of 47 villa tents, offering one bedroom suites for couples and three bedroom suites for families. All villa tenets are equipped with a private pool.

The camp will also be well-equipped with amenities including a kid’s play area, heated pools, spa, wellness centre, and a restaurant. The eco-friendly villa will also employ the latest techniques to conserve energy, minimize usage of water and will also have a waste collection program to preserve the ecological balance of the mountains.
