MAG Group Holding recently launched the first phase of the Marsa Zayed Red Sea beachfront community in Jordan. Yes, we are talking about Riviera Heights, which is the highly anticipated first luxury residential development that’s coming to the area. For those who aren’t aware, Marsa Zayed is the largest beachfront community in Jordan, and here’s all you need to know about this massive development from the nation.
Riviera Heights Launched At Marsa Zayed
For those who aren’t aware, Riviera Heights is the first project in a plan which aims to transform the Red Sea coast of Jordan into an international tourism destination. Not to mention, there are also plans afoot to transform this 320-hectare section into a residential destination. AD Ports, which is the land owner, recently appointed Dubai-based MAG Group Holding for the development of Marsa Zayed. As a result, it will act as the Southern gateway to some of the main attractions in Jordan. Yes, such as Wadi Rum protected area and Petra, which is a world heritage site.

Talking about the project, Riviera Heights comprises four 35-storey luxury apartment buildings. These would be spread over 51,000 m² and will be located at the Southern edge of the Marsa Zayed development area.. Not to mention, it would include over 1,250 sea-facing apartments, which is pretty amazing.
With the development of Riviera Heights expected to be complete by Q1 of 2028, Marsa Zayed is the flagship tourism venture of Jordan. Yes, it truly ranks amongst the Middle East’s most ambitious real estate development projects.
Construction Expected To Be Completed By Q1 Of 2028
With plans of being built next to phase 1, Riviera Heights’ launch marks the official beginning of construction. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that Marsa Zayed will eventually span 1.2 km of Red Sea Beach. This would include a marina, a hotel, an old souq marketplace with 50 retail shops, a visitor’s centre, a yacht club, and hotel apartments with a beach club.
In fact, did you know that it also includes the restoration of the minaret of Al-Sharif Al-Hussein Bin Ali Mosque? Yes, this is a prominent architectural feature in Aqaba, and it would be one of the attractions at Marsa Zayed.
