And who better to ask for biryani reccos in Hyderabad than Jr NTR? In a viral video doing rounds again on the Internet, the RRR actor shared his favourite biryani haunt.

In a viral video reposted by vlogger Sindhu Naik on Instagram, Jr NTR is seen revealing his favourite biryani spot in Hyderabad to an interviewer. Speaking to the interviewer in Telugu, the actor talks about a famous place in Hyderabad called Bawarchi. While the restaurants offer a family pack of the dish for four. Jr NTR revealed in the throwback video that can polish the entire family pack of biryani by himself in one sitting.

The restaurant located at RTC X Roads, is known for its famous kachi gosht ki biryani. With the flavours of garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and the dum-cooking style taking centre stage, Bawarchi is a must-go place for biryani fanatics. In fact, this restaurant holds the world record for the largest number of orders per day from any one outlet. In 2022, Bawarchi sold two biryanis per minute on Swiggy on New Year’s Eve.

In the comments section of the throwback interview, many Netizens commented that Bawarchi is their favourite place for biryani. Moreover, now that this place is Jr NTR-approved, many planned to visit soon. Apart from Bawarchi biryani, the actor earlier also shared his love for Chepala Pulusu, a traditional Andhra-style fish curry that goes great with rice. It’s spicy and tangy stew which is cooked in a tamarind-based gravy.
