This time, Hina Khan shared a special connection she and other TV and film celebs have with India’s favourite biscuit, Parle-G. In fact, she cant’ do without it, here’s proof.
Hina Khan Says Mumbai’s Film & TV Industry Has Special Connection With Parle-G
Hina Khan took to Instagram to give the Internet a glimpse of her aesthetically designed vanity van and her behind-the-scenes makeup routine. Apart from this, she shared a picture of herself holding a packet of Parle-G in her vanity van.
In the Insta story, she writes, “There is such a deep connection between Parle-G and the shooting world in Mumbai. We just can’t do without Parle-G on sets. Every small, big or a mega star on set wants to have some Parle-G with some chai or coffee, some dunk it in paani.”She further adds, “Lol! Parle-G ka promotion ho gaya. Naah do you think Parle-G needs any promotion? It’s the best!”
Other Celebs Who Shared Their Love For The Biscuit
Well, this is not the first time a celebrity shared her love for Parle-G online. In 2020, Randeep Hooda had tweeted about the biscuit. He revealed how his entire career was fueled by chai and Parle-G, since his theatre days. However, he goes on to urge the biscuit company to switch to an alternate biodegradable packaging material and limit the use of single-use plastic waste.

Varun Dhawan shared a short clip from the sets of Bhediya, where he cheekily said, “Parle-G chai mein duboke khaane ka alag hi mazaa hai” (It tastes a whole lot better to dip Parle-G in chai and eat it). This chai-loving sets of Bhediya is quite a delight to watch. The cherry on the cake is Varun Dhawan doing his signature Bhediya howl after relishing the Parle-G.

In an interview with India Today, Rajkummar Rao remembered his days as a struggling actor in Mumbai, where he lived on one Parle-G packet a day with just ₹18 in his bank account. Even billionaire Rahul Bhatia, the promoter and MD of IndiGo was seen dipping his Parle-G in chai and relishing the humble treat mid-air on a flight.

The Actress Is A Foodie Who Loves Bengali Sweets
Meanwhile, when it comes to Hina Khan, the actor relished a Hulk Cheese Sandwich from Om Snacks with Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani. While roaming around the gullies of Goregaon, the duo stuffed their faces with good food and even treated her to her favourite Bengali mihai from Sweet Bengal.
From devouring a Hulk Sandwich at Goregaon’s world-famous eatery, Om Snacks to enjoying a quirky Lambu Burger at Food Adda. Sounds crazy right!? Despite stuffing our faces with all this good food, there was plenty of room saved for dessert. Kamiya Jani Hina’s favorite Bengali mithai like Mishti Doi and Nolen Gur Rashogulla from the iconic Sweet Bengal. Interestingly her partner, Rocky Jaiswal is from Kolkata and he introduced her to Bengali delicacies.
