The state government is also developing a multilingual tourism website and an immersive 3D virtual tour of iconic heritage sites. Karnataka has introduced a game-changing plan to boost tourism in the state. To give tourists a fresh and exciting experience, the state has decided to launch seaplane services connecting prominent destinations such as Hampi and Krishna Raja Sagar, and the Almatti backwaters.

According to the Travel And Tour World report, with the launch of the seaplane services at these destinations, Karnataka aims to provide visitors with seamless access to some of its most iconic attractions. They further hope to solidify its status as a tourist hub in India.

These locations are often called the “tourism gems” of Karnataka. The launch of this new service will make these places more accessible to the people and attract more tourists.

3D Virtual Tours Of Heritage Sites Also On The Cards

Besides seaplanes, Karnataka is also developing a multilingual tourism website, in a bid to attract more international tourists. This website will offer comprehensive information in multiple foreign languages and make the travel experience seamless for the travellers. As per reports, this platform is being developed under the guidance of the Ministry of External Affairs.

That’s not all, the state has also introduced its first-ever 3D virtual tour of heritage sites. Spearheaded by Tourism Minister HK Patil, this initiative features immersive 3D films showcasing 20 to 30 temples and historical landmarks of Karnataka. With the help of advanced technology, people from all over the world will be able to experience Karnataka’s rich cultural and historical heritage, without the need for physical travel.
