Just a few days back, we heard of the tragic bus accident in Mumbai’s Kurla West that killed several people and injured many. On December 15, a car collided with a minibus in the Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. Read on to get information about this horrifying incident.
A Minibus Collided With A Car In Kerala’s Pathanamthitta

Police officials stated that both these vehicles met this devastating accident on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway in the wee hours of on Sunday. The minibus and the car collided at around 4:15 AM at Murinjikkal in the Pathanamthitta district. According to a report by India Today, the minibus was carrying Ayyappa devotees to Sabarimala from Telangana. On the other hand, four family members were travelling in the car.
The family, including two newlyweds, was travelling from Thiruvananthapuram. Unfortunately, the vehicle collided scarily with the devotees’ minibus on the highway near Mallassery. They lost their lives in this disastrous road accident. The concerned departments identified the deceased as Mathew Eapen, Nikhil, Anu, and Biju. Nikhil was Mathew’s son and Anu was Biju’s daughter. Nikhil and Anu were the newly married couple.
The concerned departments and authorities began to work on this accident in the Pathanamthitta road accident. They are yet to identify the reason for the collision between the car and the minibus on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway. Road accidents and crashes in this area are becoming a major issue. In the past few weeks, several incidents have been reported in this region and nearby.

On November 30, Nikhil and Anu got married. Soon, they travelled to Malaysia for their honeymoon. Following their holiday, they reached India. Their fathers went to Thiruvananthapuram to pick them up from the airport. While returning, the four of them met this tragic accident and lost their lives.
The men died at the accident spot. Anu was rushed to a private hospital in Pathanamthitta, according to a report by ABP LIVE. Passengers travelling on the minibus faced minor injuries.
