6 Things About Travelling That My Child Has Taught Me: Kamiya Jani

Travelling Child

Travelling with kids is fun. It makes you patient, creative and happier while enhancing your problem-solving skills. Kids are naturally curious and carry a cheerful vibe. And their adorable nature can burst our stresses too. Honestly, my favourite type of travelling is the one I do with my daughter, Ziana. And today, on Children’s Day, I am sharing six things I’ve learnt while travelling with my little one!

6 Things I’ve Learnt While Travelling With My Child

1. Living In The Moment

I am a content creator, and to me, travel is synonymous with creating content, and in that process, I tend to miss out on the small moments. However, when I travel with Ziana, I become a kid too. The joy of sitting on rides or doing fun activites let’s me live in the moment. I realise that travelling and life is so much more than social media.

2.  Choice Of Music

Admit it, the younger one’s taste in music is far better, and I get updated on all the latest trending songs when I go on road trips with my little one.

3. The Real Joy Of Travelling

The idea of watching a sunset, conversing during road trips, and going on jungle safaris makes me realise that travelling is more about bonding and building a relationship with your child.

4. Challenges Me To Do Better

My little one always pushes me to do better, whether it’s playing a sport or trying new activities. With my kid around, we are always up for adventures, racing or playing games. I get tired, but the innate spirit of my kiddo never lets me give up!

5. To Be Myself

I am carefree, free-spirited and bubbly when I am with my kid. I have learnt how to be myself and not care about what others around think.

6. Don’t Worry, Be Happy

Travelling with kids makes you more patient. I don’t get annoyed if things don’t go as per the plan. Kids are usually happy in every situation, and that delight makes me happy too.
