New Town In Kolkata Will Get Another Food Truck Zone

The bustling area of New Town is known among Kolkatans and people from nearby areas for the aesthetic roads, pretty corners, and of course the famous food truck area. Well, it is all set to get another zone very soon and this time the address is near the NKDA Cricket Stadium, according to a report by The Times of India. Different dishes of various cuisines are served at the food trucks. Without any doubt, these places are no less than heaven for foodies.
Getting to indulge in a feast of delectable dishes under the same roof surely looks like an exciting idea and the same is about to come up in Kolkata’s New Town for the second time. After the successful first food truck zone, the City of Joy’s New Town will get another soon. The New Town Kolkata Development Authority notified people with food trucks and invited them to apply to get their spots in the upcoming zone.
Once operational, the operators will get to run their trucks in their specific areas and serve mouth-watering food items to customers starting from 6:30 PM to 12 AM. Not just opening and running the food trucks, but these operators will also need to be equally focused on hygiene and keep the areas clean. They need to follow waste management as well so that the spots near trucks do not get dirty or cluttered.

It Is Now A Famous Hangout Zone!

A lot of people usually walk around and hang out at the NKDA Cricket Stadium. Recently, many eateries have opened in this area. Considering the rise in popularity among people, this looks like a great place to open a food truck zone. Another reason is to stop street food vendors from encroaching on areas, shared an official with The Times of India.
