KSRTC announces one-day budget tourism trip packages from Kottayam, and they start at just ₹580.
KSRTC Announces One-Trip From Kottayam
KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) has come up with one-day trips from Kottayam The trips will start from public carrier KSCTC’s Kottayam depot. One of the attractions of these trip packages is that they have a parking facility for every passenger at the depot.
The bus will also stop at tourist attractions like Athirappilly, Charpa, Vazhachal, Peringalkuthu Dam, and Sholayar Dam. The visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Malakkappara’s verdant forests.
Meanwhile, the KSRTC has launched a daily, regular, super-fast service that will benefit visitors to Munnar, a well-known hill station. This service departs Kollam depot at 4.50 a.m. and travels through Karunagappally, Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara, and Thiruvalla before arriving at Changanassery bus stand at 6.50 a.m.

Tourism Trips This Month
Trip To Anchuruly (May 21)
The cost per passenger for this trip by KSRTC is ₹580. The journey will begin by bus at the Kottayam bus depot at 5:30am and end at the same place by 10pm. The route takes you through dams at Cheruthoni, Calvary Mount, Vagamon Meadows, Idukki, Kulumavu, Anchuruly, and Pine Valley.
Trip to Sambranikodi and Munroe Thuruthu (May 23)
The fare for this trip per passenger is ₹990. The journey will begin by bus at the Kottayam bus depot at 6am and end at the same place by 10pm. Canoeing in the backwaters is included in the price.
Trip To Gavi (May 26)
The price for this trip per passenger is ₹1650. This includes the entry fee, lunch, and boating. The journey will begin by bus at the Kottayam bus depot at 5am and end at the same place by 10pm. The first stop will be Pathanamthitta for a 70km jungle safari. You will also go boating. The last stop will be Parunthumpara. (As per Onmanorama)
