The re-entry is marked by an ambitious plan to launch over 100 outlets across India by 2035. The initial investment of the project is ₹35 crore. The first two flagship stores are set to open in Mumbai by March 2025. It will also be followed by a dynamic expansion strategy targeting major metro areas and high-traffic locations like airports.

While 80% of the menu will retain its global charm, 20% will be tailored to Indian tastes. Expect to savour millet-based dishes, fresh salads, tartines, and the brand’s renowned organic sourdough bread. The beverage menu will also cater to local preferences, offering house-made lemonades, teas, and coffees crafted from natural ingredients.
Le Pain Quotidien’s Indian outlets will embody the brand’s core values. They will blend rustic decor with modern design to create inviting spaces that encourage communal dining. The commitment to sustainability will also be evident through the use of biodegradable packaging and partnerships with local farmers.
