The city most recently shot the famous Hollywood thriller Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The filming of the seventh MI movie was a collaborative effort between twofour54, Abu Dhabi Airports, and Etihad Airways. It wouldn’t be possible without support from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission. The shooting of the movie took place in Abu Dhabi’s Liwa desert and the newly constructed Midfield Terminal airport building, showcasing the city’s stunning locations and world-class facilities.
Also, The production involved the creation of an Arabian village in the desert and multiple sets at the airport terminal, making it a true masterpiece of modern cinema.
