1. 16th International Honey Festival Concluded On August 5

The 16th International Honey Festival concluded on August 5, Monday in the Al-Baha region. For those who weren’t aware, this event was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture’s branch in Al-Baha. As it happens, the event drew the participation of 90 beekeepers from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and even abroad! This festival was truly a celebration of honey and honey-based products that were found in abundance.

2. After Dubai, Abu Dhabi Offers Special Summer Vehicle Inspections

The Abu Dhabi Police together with ADNOC Distribution are offering motorists in Abu Dhabi special light vehicle inspections. Covering 12 key points, import details, such as engine oil brake fluid, coolant, clutch fluid, and even oil filters, will be checked. The initiative aims at maximising automobile and motor safety on the roads.

3. Abu Dhabi To Offer Newlyweds Rental Assistance

Abu Dhabi has announced rental assistance, loan deductions and loan repayment will be offered to newly married emirate couples in the Emirate. The initiative aims to both the Emirati family growth support program, all of this financial support will be up to AED75,000 annually for 2 years. As it happens, it’s renewable for a maximum of four years to support renting a house.

4. Airport Run At Salalah Airport On August 9

Salalah Airport in Oman is organising an airport run. Scheduled to take place this Friday which is August 9, the meeting point is Air Cargo Building at Salalah Airport. Offering several categories, these are for 10 km and 5 km for adults, while for children it’s for 2 km. 5. VOX Cinemas To Host Its First-Ever Live Sound Meditation This Weekend

VOX Cinemas is all set to host its first-ever live sound meditation on Sunday, August 11. Taking place at the Mall of Emirates, which is one of the largest cinema complexes in the Middle East, this will happen from 10 AM till noon. The 15-minute guided meditation will be happening alongside an hour-long meditation in the comfort of their fully reclined heated seats. Complete with pillows and blankets, this will be a great way to start your Sunday.

6. Emirates Halts Dubai-Dhaka Flights Due To Bangladesh Unrest

In light of the unrest happening in Bangladesh, Emirates has cancelled its flights between Dubai and Dhaka. The flights for August 5th and August 6th have been cancelled and include the following flight numbers:

EK585 – Dhaka to DXB
EK582 – DXB to Dhaka
EK583 – Dhaka to DXB
