London Gains Top Ranking On World’s Best Cities 2025 List; No Indian City Made It To The List

What is your dream city to live in? Is it somewhere abroad or in our own country, India? Recently, Resonance Consultancy released the World’s Best Cities Report featuring the top 100 cities worldwide. From Europe’s London to Asia’s Tokyo, these global cities made it to this prestigious list.

London Tops The World’s Best Cities List For 2025

For the 10th consecutive year, the England capital secured the first position on the 2025 World’s Best Cities list. London is one of the few cities with an entire package offering the best experiences in every aspect. From colleges and universities to business opportunities to wonderful travel experiences, there is something or the other for everyone.

Its global appeal, marvellous infrastructure, great transportation, and new developments continue to impress people. The city witnesses significant tourist footfall every year and this year, it secured first place in the Lovability index too.

The next cities that made it to the World’s Best Cities list are New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Singapore respectively. A total of 12 Asian cities made it to the list for 2025.

Unfortunately, no bustling Indian city has been featured on this global list.

  • Tokyo is the fourth global city and the first Asian city on the 100 best cities in the world list.
  • Next is Singapore in the fifth position.
  • Seoul stands at No. 16.
  • The list of the best cities in the world features Bangkok in the 32nd rank.
  • Beijing, the capital of China, makes it to the list at No. 36.
  • The report includes Osaka in the 42nd position.
  • Kuala Lumpur enters the list of the world’s best cities at No. 50.
  • Shanghai is on the global list at No. 61.
  • The international report has Taipei in the 76th rank.
  • This year’s list of the 100 best cities in the world includes Nagoya at No. 81.
  • There is Sapporo at No. 86.
  • The 12th Asian city on this list of the world’s best cities is Hong Kong. It stands at No. 87.
