After a long wait, the first picture of the idol of Lord Ram has been revealed finally. A couple of days before the consecration ceremony, the idol of Ram Lalla was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the mandir. Devotees chanted prayers during the placement ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya conducted on January 18. The first photo of the idol was shared with everyone.

The 51-inch-tall idol is carved out of black stone sculpted by Arun Yogiraj. He is an artist from Karnataka’s Mysuru. The face of the idol weighing 1.5 tonnes was covered with a veil. The special Ram Lalla idol shows Lord Ram as a 5-year-old child. He can be seen standing on a lotus flower. It was on Wednesday when the idol was brought to the Mandir.

The idol of the Ram Lalla was carried across the premises of the Mandir in Ayodhya on Wednesday. To keep the idol inside the mandir, the authorities used a crane and carried it on January 17. Pictures and videos of people standing in a crowd while carrying the idol were seen surfacing on different social media platforms.
