The much-awaited day of inaugurating Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is knocking at the door. Grand preparations are going in the city of Uttar Pradesh, different parts of India, and even abroad as well. From the grand decor to installations of marvellous elements to making 7,000 kg Suji Ka Halwa for the consecration ceremony, huge things are coming up for the special day. Ahead of the grand day, the Central government made an important announcement recently.

Central Government Offices To Shut Till 2:30 PM On Ram Mandir Inauguration Day

Taking to the microblogging site, Nation First (@NationFirst_RSS) shared a picture of the office memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training declaring the half-day closing.

Central government offices in India will be closing for half a day on the inauguration day of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. According to the recently made announcement, the offices will be closed till 2.30 PM on that day. Union Minister Jitendra Singh declared the news on January 18, 2024. The primary reasons behind making this decision were overwhelming sentiments and employees’ demands to be a part of the grand celebrations, according to a report by the Indian Express.

Not just the Central Government offices but central institutions and central industrial establishments all around India will be having a half day on January 22 on the Ram Mandir inauguration day. The office memorandum has been issued to all ministries/ departments of the Government of India.

We are only less than 4 days away from the incredible day of Ram Mandir’s inauguration and the preparations are going on in full swing. From the special lights from West Bengal’s Chandannagar to getting a massive 2,400 kg bell from Jalesar, the holy shrine is getting decked up in the most beautiful and opulent way. Devotees are so excited for all the upcoming celebrations and rituals to be followed for the ceremony.

Prominent Guests Will Be Present At The Inauguration Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the inauguration event as the chief guest. From President Droupadi Murmu to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, renowned personalities from the world of sports, Bollywood, and other walks of life will be present at the consecration ceremony.
