Soon, a four-lane flyover and an underpass will be built to give drivers of cars and trucks travelling between Cantt and the Lucknow-Sultanpur National Highway continuous connectivity. The pathways around the Ahimamau crossing remain congested throughout the day as a result of the Shaheed Path’s fast urbanisation. According to the authorities, they needed to find a long-term solution.

Other than that, to address the issue of traffic on Shaheed Path near Gomti Nagar Extension, the Lucknow Development Authority has developed a comprehensive strategy. It will cost ₹8.5 crores to fix the traffic issues for those who travel via Shaheed Path from the Gomti Bundha route (which begins in Pipraghat) to the Ekana stadium.
