Foodies in Mumbai, we have found the perfect way to spend your Thursdays! Andheri’s Luv has rolled out Tasting Thursdays, an intimate, ingredient-forward dining experience that hosts just 10 people per week. For the debut edition, titled Unhala, which means ‘summer’ in Marathi, they are revisiting Maharashtra’s flavours and here’s all you need to know about it.
Finesse Meets Maharashtrian Flavours At Luv’s Tasting Thursdays
To give you a summer like none other Luv has introduced ‘Tasting Thursdays’. The idea is to host 10 people every Thursday and serve them a seven-course meal. The dishes on the menu pays tribute to the culinary heritage of Maharashtra. Founded by brothers Luv and Chef Akash Deshpande, the restaurant has thoughtfully curated a special menu that brings together Maharashtra’s flavours, stories, and soul.

Don’t be mistaken! Unhala is not about fusion food. It is a culinary experience where each dish is rooted in tradition, reimagined with finesse, and plated like a work of art. Helmed by Chef Akash Deshpande, each dish on the menu whispers a story. Right from the humble root vegetables of rural Maharashtra treated with reverence, the mothi mirchi filled with corn and nestled on colocasia greens, or the pumpkin-brinjal duet bathed in a red wine reduction—a gentle play of earthiness and elegance.
With Tasting Thursdays, the Deshpande brothers hope to give their guests an immersive, unhurried, and deeply personal experience. They wish to bring back the rare opportunity to dine with intention—to slow down, to notice, and to connect with people.
