Maghi Purnima, the fifth of the six sacred days for the ‘snan’ at Maha Kumbh, is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12. Prayagraj authorities are expecting millions of devotees to take a dip in the holy river on this occasion, and for the safety of devotees, the police have clamped down on traffic movement in the city.

According to the Hindustan Times, the Maha Kumbh district administration has prepared a traffic plan and has declared the fair area a ‘no-vehicle zone’ to reduce crowding.
