Maharashtra had earlier imposed strict COVID restrictions to control the spread of the virus during the third wave. There were night curfews and restaurants and theatres had were allowed to operate in minimum capacity only. However, looking at the dip in cases, restaurants and theatres in Mumbai were allowed to run with 50% capacity. The restaurant hours were also stretched and allowed to operate till 1:30 am. Theatres & Malls In Mumbai, Pune & Nagpur Can Operate At 100% Capacity
In a huge development, the Maharashtra government relaxed more COVID restrictions in Mumbai, Pune, and other districts. Restaurants, halls, and threatres can function at 100% capacity in Mumbai city, Mumbai Pune, Nagpur, Raigad, Wardha, and Kolhapur. Further swimming pools and entertainment parks will also be allowed to function at full capacity.

Restaurants & Theatres To Operate At 50 Percent Capacity
Schools and colleges in Maharashtra will shut down till February 15. When it comes to restaurants and movie theatres, they can operate at 100 per cent capacity. Private offices will also operate at 50 per cent capacity, implementing staggered working hour shifts. Moreover, only fully vaccinated employees are allowed to attend the office.
