Maharashtra Government Allows Amusement Parks & Water Sports To Operate Outside Containment Zone

How many of you have Googled in the past few days if Adlabs Imagica is open? Well, if you have been waiting to visit the amusement parks, there’s a piece of great news for you. The Maharashtra government has allowed amusement parks to resume operations and water sports and activities like cruising and boating. The re-opening of amusement park and water sports activities is part of the phase-wise easing of lockdown restrictions in the state.

Parks To Remain Shut In Containment Zones

However, the government will soon release a standard SOP that the authorities will have to follow. Visitors and staff must abide by all social distancing norms and precautions to check the spread of Covid-19. That said, the water sports activities and the amusement and entertainment parks will only be allowed outside containment zones.

Centre To Issue SOPs  On Parks

While the entertainment activities are gradually re-opening in the country, let us not forget that stepping outside the house unless necessary is not a great idea right now. Amid growing concerns over the new, deadly coronavirus variant detected in the UK, the Maharashtra government has declared night curfew from 11 pm to 6 pm from December 22 to January 5 as a precautionary step.

Maharashtra has still been reporting 3000 new cases every day so if you are going out, do it taking all the precautionary measures.
