How Is This Nagpur Delicacy Different From Indore’s Famous Poha?
Poha is one of the most loved breakfast options in India, and it’s equally versatile, with each region offering its own take and flavours. One of the most debated questions around this dish has been—which is better: tarri poha or Indori poha?
While both share the same base, the two dishes differ significantly in flavour, texture, and how they’re served. Nagpur’s version is spicy, gravy-based (made with kala chana), and bold, while Indori poha is light, slightly sweet, and dry with layered textures. The latter is also typically served with a side of jalebi. Ultimately, it all comes down to your palate and preference.
