Majid Al Futtaim Indoor Snow Resorts Receive Global Humane Certification
The Global Humane Conservation programme is the first certification devoted to confirming the safety and treatment of animals housed in zoos, aquariums, and conservation facilities. The audit aids in validating exceptional practices at worthy zoos and aquariums. The Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment indoor ski resorts, Ski Dubai, Ski Egypt, and Snow Oman, have received certification!
The Global Snow facilities are home to King, Gentoo, and Chinstrap penguins. Visitors may interact with the animals and learn about Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment’s conservation efforts for these species. In Egypt and Oman, this accreditation is the first ever Global Humane certification. Currently, 76 zoological institutions in 16 different nations are certified by Global Humane.
The Venues Went Under A Thorough Examination
Dr. Robin Ganzert, President and CEO of Global Humane, expressed excitement about the three of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment’s venues getting the certification. Global Humane will be able to acknowledge the global impact of the animal welfare movement at zoological facilities.
Ski Dubai, Ski Egypt, and Snow Oman had to undergo a thorough independent examination. Moreover, it examined the welfare of the animals under their care. Also, it showed overall excellence in their animal care and welfare standards to be recognised as Global Humane Certified. Reputable veterinarians with backgrounds in biology, ethics, animal welfare, and the latest findings in science and best practices have an impact on the process. The audit took into account many factors, including housing, feeding, watering, lighting, shade, sound, activity levels, and staff training on animal interaction.
